    Because the fall of the Romanovs affected us all, through the rise of communism which affected Hitler and the Second World War.

When the romanovs were killed there wasn’t even a trial it was kept a secret until it finally got out but then when the English king Charles l got his head chopped off there was a trial even if it was rigged but the king went to his death and there was a certain dignity and 12 years later they put his son back on the throne.

    Russia is a country found locked in between Europe and Asia, it is the largest country in the world and stretches over 6.5 million square miles. The country of Russia covers eleven different time zones and is predominantly to the North Pole in comparison to the equator. In terms of different ethnic groups, 80% of the 160 million people situated in Russia are ethnic Russians and spanning the other 20% are made up of roughly 100 other ethnic groups.

    1) Robert Massey believes that the fall of the Romanov’s was a significant historical event because it changed our lives through a series of events which were a result of the fall of the Romanov’s. Some of these events include the spread of communism and the Vietnam War.
    2) The five major things he syas the fear of communism helped bring about were for one Hitlerinto Germany and subsequently World War II. World War II divided the world and brought on the spread of communism to China, which helped spread communism through Asia and eventually led to the Vietnam War.
