Tell me how you are going

May 28, 2007 · 5 Comments

Do you think your project is progressing well?
What have you found difficult so far?
What have you done to overcome any difficulties?
What has been the easiest part?
Have you corroborated and cross checked your information using a range of sources?
This is the time you need to think about how you group fits into the broader concept and history of terrorism.

Yes I do think that our project is progressing well. So far I have found it difficult to find some primary sources but i have recently found a site with some. To overcome some difficulties i have looked into books instead of the internet. The easist part has been to answer the questions we have chose to answer about our group. Yes i have checked other sites to ensure that the information that im am reading is relevant and true.

Do you think your project is progressing well?
Our project is progressing okay, but we have to get stuck into it a little more and do some writing rather than just research. However, we have found a large quantity of resources and have a few interesting ideas.
What have you found difficult so far?
We have found some of the wiki manipulation difficult, especially when using Safari. We also had a couple of issues with getting some clips from YouTube bbut they have been rectified.
What have you done to overcome any difficulties?
We have started using Firefox to edit the wiki and got Ms Barnsley to get the appropriate clips for us from the web.
What has been the easiest part? The easiest part has been finding relevant and accurate information and articles on JI.
Have you corroborated and cross checked your information using a range of sources?
As said above, there are a multitude of sources, mostly secondary, to corroborate innformation.

    1. Yes I do
    2. I use German sources most of the time because the RAF operated only in Germany and because of that I can find the best sources only in german. I have to look up many difficult words and try to translate as good as possible which is not easy because of many words which I don’t know in English.
    3. Use my dictionary :)
    4. To find the sources
    5. Yes I did

    How I am going
G’day miss, I’m pretty happy with how we are going, I’ve done two parts so far, and I think that was somewhere close to my goal. There are a few things so far, like I have found it difficult to get my questions right, I keep changing them, like, I don’t want to be writing about the same thing in each of my links, in each of my parts, I think diversification is the key. I think that the interest part of it has been incredible easy, I haven’t found it difficult to do the work at all, interest hasn’t been a problem. We haven’t cross-checked as yet, Tim has been away for a number of lessons and this has hindered our co-operativeness.
